Wyndham to open Days Inn and Super 8 hotels in India

Wyndham Hotel Group International plans to open 50 hotels across its various brands in India by the year 2011.

It has tied up with Gammon India (a construction company) to open 38 hotels across the economy brands - Super 8 and Days Inn. It also plans to open 30 hotels under its Ramada band by 2011, 10 of which will be developed and managed by the Bangalore based Royal Orchids Hotel (ROHL).

Wyndham expect 60% of its growth from Asia and Middle East in the near future.

Wyndham feels that India is ready for their luxury brand which will be launched next year.
